Aam pannar Sorbot is a renowned summer drink from West Bengal, India. It is made from raw mangoes. It is consumed as a tasty and healthy beverage to fight against the intense Indian summer heat. Pudina pata(mint leaves) are also added which enhances the green colour.Not only in Bengal , but it is also famous all over India.Here , I have tried to make this recipe with minimum ingredients and easiest way possible.Please have a look!😊😃

- Ingredients:
- 2 Medium Sized - Kachi Keri/Raw Green Mangoes
- 0.5 Teaspoon - Black Salt
- 0.5 Cups - Mint leaves/Chopped
- 4 Cups- Water
- 2 Cups - Sugar

- Steps:
- Peel the mangoes and grate them. Boil the grated mango flesh in a pan and boil till the flesh becomes soft.
- Now put the boiled mangoes , mint leaves , Black Salt and Sugar (as per taste) and then add 2 to 3 tablespoons of cold water on it into a grinder and blend it
- Now take a large bowl . Add the previous mixture and 4 Cups of Cold water and mix everything well.
- Put the bowl into refrigerator for 2 hours .Let the mixture cool down and then strain it.
- Put 2-3 ice-cubes into each glass, pour the sorbot on the ice-cubes and serve.
- Serving Tips: Serve Aam Porar Sorbot chilled with ice cubes & pudina leaves. If you want, may add few drops of lemon juice.
